Museum Quality Ming Royal Family Porcelain Box
This exquisite floral porcelain box belongs to the royal family with a mint mark (大明嘉靖年製) indicating its made in KaiChing (嘉靖1521–1567) emperor period. The floral arrangments and the relief with the predominant background yellow color indicated the likely possession of this porcelain piece belonging to the royal family. According to the original acquirer, this box was intended to store cakes for the royal Ming family.
